The Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) baseball trounced the visiting McMinn County Cherokees (Athens, TN), 10-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoyah for a 3A District 5 challenge on Monday, March 31. Lenoir City will clash with a Chiefs team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Bay (Panama City, FL). The Chiefs record now stands at 5-10.

With the defeat, McMinn County drops to 9-6 on the year. The Cherokees host Thomas Worthington (Worthington, OH) to clash with the CARDINALS in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 29. The CARDINALS go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
