The South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) baseball the visiting L.W. Higgins Hurricanes (Marrero, LA), 11-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Tarpons now own a 16-9 record. They take the field next when they host Morgan City for a 4A District 8 challenge on Tuesday, April 1.
With the defeat, L.W. Higgins drops to 14-6 on the year. The Hurricanes host Bonnabel (Kenner, LA) to clash with the Bruins in a 5A District 10 challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Bruins go into the challenge with a record of 14-10. Bonnabel won 8-7 in their recent league outing against East Jefferson (Metairie, LA)
