The Moberly Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Palmyra Panthers to 1 in the Spartans non-league win on Saturday.

The Spartans now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they host Kirksville for a Class 4 District 7 test on Monday, March 31. Moberly will play a Tigers team coming off a 4-1 non-league loss to Maryville (Maryville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 4-4.

With the defeat, Palmyra drops to 2-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Quincy Notre Dame (Quincy, IL) to play the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 1-4. Quincy Notre Dame lost 5-4 in their recent non-league test against Kirksville (Kirksville, MO)
