The Vale Vikings baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Nestucca Bobcats to 3 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.

The Vikings now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marsing for a non-league test on Monday, March 31. Vale will play a Huskies team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Nestucca drops to 2-2 on the year. The Bobcats host Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-2. Neah-Kah-Nie lost 22-7 in their recent non-league test against Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR)
