The Northwestern Warriors (Springfield, OH) baseball trounced the host Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), 13-5 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Warriors now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Southeastern Local for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 1.
With the defeat, Northeastern drops to 0-1 on the year. The Jets travel to West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH) to clash with the Roughriders in a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Monday, April 7. The Roughriders go into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
