New York High School Baseball - St. Joseph-by-the-Sea defeats St. Joseph Regional

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings (Staten Island, NY) and the visiting St. Joseph Regional Green Knights (Montvale, NJ), saw St. Joseph-by-the-Sea's baseball team gain a win over St. Joseph Regional by a tally of 9-2.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Iona Prep (New Rochelle, NY). The Gaels enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Iona Prep held off Kings Park (Kings Park, NY), 17-7, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, St. Joseph Regional drops to 8-1 on the year. The Green knights host Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ) to clash with the Knights in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
