In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mt. Vernon Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Beavercreek Beavers.
The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record.
Next, the Beavers meet the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) in a challenge, on Thursday, April 3. Beavercreek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
