Arizona High School Volleyball - Mica Mountain can't get by Buckeye

The Buckeye Hawks edged the visiting Mica Mountain Thunderbolts volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

Next up, the Hawks face the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a 5A Central Valley game, on Tuesday, April 1. Buckeye will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Vipers go into the game with a 16-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mountain View (Tucson, AZ).

The Thunderbolts (12-5) will now prepare for their game against Sunnyside (Tucson, AZ). The Blue Devils go into the non-league game with a 8-7 record. In their last game, Sunnyside was edged by Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league game.
