Gateway Regional Gators (Woodbury Heights, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Hamilton Hornets (Hamilton, NJ), 12-2 in a non-league game.

With the victory, Gateway Regional advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Gators host Timber Creek Regional (Erial, NJ) to play the Chargers in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Chargers come into the game with a record of 0-1.

The Hornets now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Steinert for a CVC - Patriot game on Tuesday, April 1. Hamilton will play a Spartans team coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
