The Pueblo West Cyclones lacrosse squad scored 13 points and limited the visiting Douglas County Huskies to 7 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cyclones now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 4A Metro challenge on Tuesday, April 1. Pueblo West will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 10-4 league loss to Denver North (Denver, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Douglas County falls to 2-2 on the year. The Huskies host Columbine (Littleton, CO) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. The Rebels go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Columbine won 17-3 in their recent non-league challenge against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO)
