In Saturday's non-league match, the Heritage Patriots (Menifee, CA) lacrosse team edged the visiting San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 4-3.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Liberty Bison (Winchester, CA) in a Ivy match, on Thursday, April 3. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.

The Cougars (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Crusaders enter the Metro South Bay match with a 5-3 record.
