The Liberty Hurricanes lacrosse squad scored 9 points and limited the visiting North Pocono Trojans to 0 in the Hurricanes non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hurricanes now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Moravian Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Liberty will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 19-1 league win over Bethlehem Catholic (Bethlehem, PA). The Lions record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, North Pocono falls to 0-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) to clash with the Royals in a Wyoming Valley Lacrosse League challenge on Wednesday, April 2. The Royals go into the challenge with a record of 0-4. Holy Redeemer lost 15-2 in their recent league challenge against Delaware Valley (Milford, PA)
