In Saturday's league contest, the host Musselman Applemen lacrosse squad scored a tight 17-11 triumph over the Preston Knights.
The Applemen (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jefferson County (Shenandoah Junction, WV). The Wild go into the WVSLA -DII East contest with a 1-2 record.
Next, the Knights meet the Jefferson County Wild (Shenandoah Junction, WV) in a WVSLA -DII East contest, on Saturday, March 29. Preston will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Wild go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Handley (Winchester, VA).
