In Saturday's league test, the Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX) softball squad got by the visiting Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX), by a tally of 7-6.

Next, the Trojans clash with the Seymour Panthers (Seymour, TX) in a 1A Region I District 2 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Windthorst will attempt to advance on its 7-11 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 1-15 record after their 10-9 league loss to Olney (Olney, TX).

The Wildcats (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Petrolia (Petrolia, TX). The Pirates go into the 1A Region II District 9 test with a 14-4 record. In their last test, Petrolia held off Electra (Electra, TX), 18-2, in a non-league test.
