The Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) softball routed the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), 18-6 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Rams now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmington for a 5A District 1 outing on Tuesday, April 1. Rio Rancho will encounter a Scorpions team coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Robertson (Las Vegas, NM). The Scorpions record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Bernalillo moves to 7-7 on the season. The Spartans host Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM) to encounter the Huskies in a 4A District 6 outing on Tuesday, April 1. The Huskies come into the outing with a record of 7-3. Hope Christian won 19-2 in their recent non-league outing against Socorro (Socorro, NM)
