The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) and the host West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM), observed Bloomfield's softball team get by West Mesa by a tally of 8-7.

The Bobcats (4-9) will now prepare for their bout against Aztec (Aztec, NM). The Tigers go into the 4A District 1 bout with a 7-10 record. In their last bout, Aztec tipped Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 18-8, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) in a 5A District 5 bout, on Friday, April 4. West Mesa will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 6-4 league loss to Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
