In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting John Marshall Monarchs softball team scored a nice 10-1 win over the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers.
The Monarchs (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights come into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Preston was routed by Southern (Oakland, MD), 10-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Buccaneers confront the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 29. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Knights come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Southern (Oakland, MD).
