Ohio High School Softball - Vanlue bested by Calvert

The Calvert Senecas triumphed over the visiting Vanlue Wildcats softball squad by a score of 15-1 in Saturday's non-league game.

With the triumph, Calvert improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Senecas travel to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH) to play the Golden Bears in a Sandusky Bay - River game on Monday, March 31. The Golden Bears enter the game with a record of 0-3. Gibsonburg lost 12-1 in their recent non-league game against Lake (Millbury, OH)

The Wildcats now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgemont for a non-league game on Monday, March 31. Vanlue will play a Golden Gophers squad coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Riverside (De Graff, OH). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 0-2.
