In Saturday's non-league match, the host Central Dauphin Rams softball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Freedom Patriots.

The Rams (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA). The Colts go into the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Cedar Cliff was routed by Cumberland Valley (Mechanicsburg, PA), 10-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA) in a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference match, on Tuesday, April 1. Freedom will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 2-6 record after their 15-0 league loss to Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA).
