The Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers softball team scored 3 runs and held the host St. Mary's Ryken Knights to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league win on Saturday.

The Buccaneers now possess a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union Area for a non-league battle on Wednesday, April 2. Chartiers-Houston will confront a Scotties team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Neshannock (New Castle, PA). The Scotties record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, St. Mary's Ryken moves to 5-2 on the season. The Knights host Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 7-0. Bishop O'Connell won 13-1 in their recent league battle against Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD)
