California High School Softball - Covina topped by Saint Joseph

Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), 14-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Saint Joseph improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Jesters travel to Chaparral (Temecula, CA) to play the Pumas in a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. The Pumas enter the game with a record of 0-10. Chaparral lost 13-7 in their recent league game against Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA)

The Colts now hold a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Wilson for a Valle Vista game on Tuesday, April 1. Covina will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-10 non-league loss to Workman (City of Industry, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-2.
