In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Dyer County Choctaws softball team scored a tight 7-3 win over the Moline Maroons.

The Choctaws (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Benet Academy was routed by Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL), 5-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Maroons confront the Rock Falls Rockets (Rock Falls, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, March 31. Moline will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Rockets come into the match with a 1-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to LaSalle-Peru (LaSalle, IL).
