Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Livingston Wolves (Livingston, CA), 9-4 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Galena improves its record to 5-11 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Reno (Reno, NV) to face the Huskies in a 5A North game on Thursday, April 3. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 1-14. Reno lost 18-0 in their recent non-league game against Douglas (Minden, NV)

The Wolves now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Johansen for a Western Athletic Conference game on Monday, March 31. Livingston will face a Vikings squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Central Valley (Ceres, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-6.
