Hillsdale Fighting Knights (San Mateo, CA) supporters left the game pleased Saturday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA), 6-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Hillsdale improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Fighting Knights travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, April 7. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 9-1.

The Pumas now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Windsor for a North Bay - Oak game on Wednesday, April 2. Maria Carrillo will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 6-4 non-league win over McKinleyville (McKinleyville, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 7-3.
