New Mexico High School Softball - La Cueva bounces Hobbs

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM), observed La Cueva's softball team prevail over Hobbs by a tally of 10-0.

The Bears (12-3) will now prepare for their bout against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 8-1 record. In their last bout, Alamogordo knocked off Sandia (Albuquerque, NM), 8-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 29. Hobbs will attempt to advance on its 6-5 season record. The Cavemen/Cavegirls go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 8-5 non-league win over Aztec (Aztec, NM).
