The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wallenpaupack Area Buckhorns (Hawley, PA) and the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), observed Wallenpaupack Area's softball team prevail over Honesdale by a tally of 16-0.

The Buckhorns (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, West Scranton was routed by Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA), 15-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 31. Honesdale will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 8-2 non-league loss to Holy Redeemer (Wilkes-Barre, PA).
