Pennsylvania High School Softball - Jim Thorpe bested by Palisades

March 29, 2025: Kintnersville, PA 18930

The Palisades Pirates triumphed over the visiting Jim Thorpe Olympians softball squad by a count of 13-4 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Pirates play the Lehighton Indians (Lehighton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, March 31. Palisades will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 11-8 non-league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).

The Olympians (1-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Notre Dame (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Spartans enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Notre Dame was routed by Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA), 33-5, in a non-league challenge.
