With the triumph, Letcher County Central improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Cougars / Lady Cougars travel to Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV) to face the Patriots in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 7-2. Parkersburg South lost 15-0 in their recent non-league contest against Rowan County (Morehead, KY)
The Bears now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to John Battle for a Mountain 7 contest on Tuesday, April 1. Union will face a Trojans squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-2.
