The Midway Vikings softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Smithton Tigers to 8 in the Vikings non-league win on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Vernon County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1.
With the loss, Smithton moves to 1-3 on the season. The Tigers travel to St. Paul Lutheran (Concordia, MO) to confront the Saints in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Saints come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
