The Selinsgrove Seals softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Minersville Battlin' Miners to 7 in the Seals non-league win on Saturday.

The Seals now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jersey Shore for a Heartland I battle on Tuesday, April 1. Selinsgrove will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Montoursville (Montoursville, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Minersville moves to 1-4 on the season. The Battlin' miners host Schuylkill Haven (Schuylkill Haven, PA) to confront the Hurricanes in a Schuylkill II battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Hurricanes come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Schuylkill Haven lost 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kutztown (Kutztown, PA)
