New Mexico High School Softball - Newcomb bounces Valley

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Newcomb Skyhawks softball team scored a nice 18-3 win over the Valley Pirates.
The Skyhawks (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Socorro was routed by Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM), 19-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Pirates confront the Northland Prep Academy Spartans (Flagstaff, AZ) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 1. Valley will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
