California High School Softball - Ocean View held off by Paramount

The Paramount Pirates got by the visiting Ocean View Seahawks softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Downey Vikings (Downey, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 1. Paramount will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 10-0 league loss to La Mirada (La Mirada, CA).

The Seahawks (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA). The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Segerstrom held off Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA), 9-5, in a non-league challenge.
