The Copiah Academy Colonels baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Amite School Center Rebels to 1 in the Colonels non-league victory on Thursday.
The Colonels (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Brookhaven Academy gained a win over Copiah Academy (Gallman, MS), 5-0, in a non-league match.
The Rebels (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Wilkinson County Christian Academy (Woodville, MS). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 0-0 record.
