In Thursday's non-league game, the host Pine Raiders baseball team scored a tight 8-1 victory over the Bay Tigers.
The Raiders (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Perry Central (New Augusta, MS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Perry Central tipped Prentiss Christian (Prentiss, MS), 11-5, in a non-league game.
The Tigers (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Hancock was overwhelmed by Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS), 5-0, in a non-league game.
