Alabama High School Baseball - Central of Clay County loses to Handley

The Handley Tigers crushed the visiting Central of Clay County Volunteers baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Tigers now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ranburne for a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. Handley will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 14-4 non-league loss to Piedmont (Piedmont, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.

Next, the Volunteers face the Cleburne County Tigers (Heflin, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 5. Central of Clay County will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 7-2 record after their 18-3 non-league win over White Plains (Anniston, AL).
