The Cherokee Warriors baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Glencoe Yellowjackets to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Apalachee was overwhelmed by Bob Jones (Madison, AL), 11-0, in a non-league match.
The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Hokes Bluff was overwhelmed by Sardis (Boaz, AL), 5-3, in a non-league match.
