The Coronado Thunderbirds baseball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Ysleta Indians to 5 in the Thunderbirds non-league victory on Thursday.
The Thunderbirds (4-4) will now prepare for their match against San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, San Elizario gained a win over Anthony (Anthony, TX), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson (El Paso, TX). The Silver Foxes go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Jefferson was overwhelmed by Burges (El Paso, TX), 8-3, in a non-league match.
