The Hobbton Wildcats the visiting Spring Creek Gators baseball team by a score of 8-3 in Thursday's non-league game.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Princeton was overwhelmed by Nash Central (Rocky Mount, NC), 11-4, in a non-league game.

The Gators (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Rosewood tipped Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC), 17-2, in a non-league game.
