In Thursday's non-league game, the host Jumpertown Cardinals baseball team scored a nice 16-5 victory over the Tremont Eagles.
The Cardinals (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Pine Grove (Ripley, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS). The Cardinals go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Potts Camp overcame Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS), 3-2, in a non-league game.
