The McIntosh Chiefs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Upson-Lee Knights to 0 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Chiefs (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Griffin (Griffin, GA). The Bears go into the AAAAA Region 2 match with a 2-3 record. In their last match, Griffin was overwhelmed by Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA), 7-5, in a non-league match.
The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Harris County (Hamilton, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Harris County was overwhelmed by Central (Carrollton, GA), 7-6, in a non-league match.
