North Carolina High School Baseball - West Iredell loses to Newton-Conover

The Newton-Conover Red Devils baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host West Iredell Warriors to 2 in the Red Devils non-league victory on Thursday.

The Red Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their match against West Caldwell (Lenoir, NC). The Warriors go into the Catawba Valley Athletic 2A match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, West Caldwell was overwhelmed by Hibriten (Lenoir, NC), 18-6, in a non-league match.

The Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the Western Foothills 3A match with a 2-0 record. In their last match, St. Stephens gained a win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 12-2, in a non-league match.
