The Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Fort Lauderdale Flying L's to 0 in the Golden Tornadoes league victory on Thursday.

The Golden Tornadoes now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coral Springs Charter for a non-league game on Monday, March 7. Pompano Beach will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Coral Springs (Coral Springs, FL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.

The Flying L's (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Jaguars enter the 1A D19 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Coral Glades was dropped by Pine Crest (Fort Lauderdale, FL), 3-2, in a league game.
