The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the South Spartans (Torrance, CA) and the visiting Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA), saw South's volleyball squad beat Narbonne by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, South upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Spartans host Woodrow Wilson (Long Beach, CA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, March 4. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Woodrow Wilson won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA)

The Gauchos now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Poly for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 8. Narbonne will play a Parrots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA). The Parrots record now stands at 1-3.
