The Pomona Red Devils held off the visiting South El Monte Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Red Devils now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maranatha for a non-league test on Thursday, March 10.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Glendale (Glendale, CA). The Nitros enter the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Glendale held off St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
