In Thursday's non-league test, the host Wekiva Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-6 victory over the Edgewater Eagles.
The Mustangs now have a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Minneola for a non-league test on Monday, March 7. Wekiva will face a Hawks squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Forest (Ocala, FL). The Hawks record now stands at 5-0.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 7. Edgewater will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record. The Blue Darters come into the test with a 4-3 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Evans (Orlando, FL).
