The Athens Golden Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Priceville Bulldogs to 3 in the Golden Eagles non-league victory on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles (4-0) will now prepare for their match against Grissom (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Grissom was overwhelmed by Scottsboro (Scottsboro, AL), 4-1, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Arab (Arab, AL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Arab gained a win over Boaz (Boaz, AL), 11-2, in a non-league match.
