In Thursday's non-league contest, the Desert View Jaguars (Tucson, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Flowing Wells Caballeros (Tucson, AZ), by a margin of 13-3.
With the triumph, Desert View moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jaguars host Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, March 4.
