The Jacksonville Cardinals lacrosse squad (Jacksonville, NC), was overwhelmed 17-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC)

Coming up next, the Pirates meet the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a Mideastern challenge, on Tuesday, March 8. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC).

The Cardinals now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they host New Bern for a Big East challenge on Wednesday, March 9.
