The Myers Park Mustangs lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Providence Panthers to 8 in the Mustangs league win on Thursday.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Providence Day (Charlotte, NC). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Providence Day was overwhelmed by Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC), 11-10, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Mill (Fort Mill, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Fort Mill was overwhelmed by Clover (Clover, SC), 6-2, in a league game.
