The Whitewater Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Newnan Cougars lacrosse team by a score of 16-4 in Thursday's non-league match.
With the win, Whitewater upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Wildcats host Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA) to play the Chargers in a 1A-5A Area 6 match on Wednesday, March 9. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 2-0.
With the defeat, Newnan drops to 0-5 on the season. The Cougars host East Paulding (Dallas, GA) to play the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 8. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 2-3. East Paulding lost 13-5 in their recent league match against Etowah (Woodstock, GA)
